Stephen is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years experience in the requirements of the offshore and naval industries. His experience ranges from the design of gun mountings and lifting equipment to analysis of structures and pressure containing equipment. He is an inventive problem solver with a number of patents to his name. Stephen is never happier than when he is asked to carry out a complex analysis for the design of a new product, but he is constantly aware of the practical constraints of manufacture and the economic realities.
In his spare time Stephen enjoys kayaking, cycling and learning French.
